Currently we staff 30+ Firefighters and operate a fleet of 8 vehicles that respond annually to 350+ calls for service. Our response area covers approximately 100 square miles consisting of light Industrial facilities, Residential housing,  two Extended Care Health facilities, two Elementary schools, Middle/High school complex, 3 major US Highways, both State & private waterways, and McCormick’s Creek State Park. OVFD also provides Mutual Aid services to various surrounding Emergency Response Agencies. Our mission is to protect the lives, safety and property of the community we serve by providing Certified personnel, up-to-date equipment, and continued education and training.
